The Baker Family

Meet the Baker family. Can I just tell you these people were such a joy to be around. Honestly, I'm not sure if I've ever laughed harder during a photo shoot or as long as I did during this session. Their laughter and light hearted personalities are just contagious. Rhonda's sons, made sure to embarrass their dad as much as they could, the entire time. Which, just resulted in making us all laugh even harder. And Rhonda couldn't be sweeter, even if she was pure honey. I can see why women are drawn to her. Her loving personality, her forgiving nature, her genuine love for people, and she is so sincere when she talks to you, prays for you, she made me feel special from the first moment we talked to each other.

Thank you Baker family for being yourself, and letting me take your pictures.

Hightower number 4 is on her way!

Getting to know this family has been such a joy.  The biggest thrill I get from taking pictures for people, is when they return and ask for me to do their pictures again. Not only, does it help me and them feel more comfortable when shooting, but is also a time for us to connect and build a relationship together. And on top of all that, I get to watch their family grow. What a joy for me! They trust me and they appreciate my work. That just says it all. It really is SO valuable for me. Returning clients are the BEST!

Thank you to all my clients that return over and over again. You guys lift my spirit and bless me more than you would ever know!

So excited for you, Emily and Chris, baby girl number 2, is arriving soon. I cannot wait to meet her!!

Hot Summer Days...The Logue Family

Approaching the last days in August, we bared the heat and did a photo shoot in 100 degree plus weather. It was definitely a hot one. Where we started on the railroad tracks, on the out skirts of Sunset Park, we quickly moved over to the Sunset park where we found some shade. This made things a bit easier for little miss Cyndell. Although, it may not look like I had a hard time getting her to smile, she was very timid of me and very shy. But as soon as she got the chance to talk with me and hold my hands a few time, her and I quickly became friends. She lead me to all the places she wanted to take pictures and her mom and dad we so great as to just let us walk together. Sometimes, those are the exact moments us as photographers need to photographing children. A little one on one time. It turned out to be a great session and I'm so happy I got the opportunity to meet this sweet family.
